This tool is not intended for serious mycology or professional use, its results are simply suggestions to make it easier to look up species descriptions without working through dichotomous keys, which I get lost in.
It doesn’t have all known species, I’ve focused on the ones that have been recorded in Scotland / Britain, particularly in grassland.
Lots of species can only be identified with microscopy and I haven’t entered all of the microscopic ID characters to make that possible.
This is a personal project that’s still in progress!
